OKAY OKAY, so maybe every Wednesday didn't work out.

I really meant to. I planned and yearned and hoped to get back here to post some insightful piece of work for all and sundry to read. It's just, well, a little blog like this just doesn't have the weight of a half a million other things I am supposed to do. However....
I have a little something to share. I am learning about being in the zone. Those times when work or play or whatever is so all consuming that you are unable to notice whats going on around you that is unrelated to what you are doing. That feeling of power and control and the almost unbelievable rate at which time in the moment is slow so you get everything, but the time outside seems to fly by. For me it happens in football sometimes. I can see the play develop in front of me and react defensively at the perfect moment. Sometimes writing gets like that too. I can focus on a certain document or a scene in fiction and just not notice that three hours have passed. This happens to everyone once in a while. But here's today's secret. You can learn to get yourself in a zone like that for almost everything you do. Even the crap like dishes, and sweeping the driveway. Mundane tasks, that for me bring little joy, are much harder to stay with. But the secret is learning to be naturally successful. Using yourself and your innate abilities to conquer almost any task efficiently, effectively and most of all happily. And it's pretty easy to do.
A weeks practice and your life begins to become effortless. And it escalates, because the more you do it the more you want to do it and the better at you become.
Unfortunately I didn't invent or discover it myself. If your interested in trying the most un-selfhelp program that will change your life, and explain why other programs may not have given you everything you thought try reading up on P.J Eby.
you can get the free book I got from his website. Check out www.thinkingthingsdone.com and see if it works for you. Its odd because I have said it before, but... I think this might be the one. Really the one. Please ignore any other posts that may have mentioned any other programs, I was mistaken. I think.
